Graveside services for Audrey Lorene Stewart, age 95, a McAlester, OK resident, were held Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Blue Cemetery in McAlester, OK with Kathy and Larry Stewart officiating.

Mrs. Stewart was born on Tuesday, September 8, 1925, to Samuel and Bertha (Jackson) Freeman, at Crowder, OK and passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at McAlester, OK. She attended School at Blue through the 8th grade. Audrey was a housewife and married Eugene Stewart on Tuesday, May 21, 1946 at Pittsburg County. She was a member of Blue Holiness Church and loved to play games with her grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and taking care of little animals and birds, especially her pet cat Blackie.

Audrey is survived by her daughters, Karen Roberts and husband OW of McAlester, OK, Joann Green and husband Tommie of McAlester, OK, Patsy Huffman of Texas, Loueva Estes and husband Marvin of Atoka, OK; sons, John E. Stewart of Texas, Harold R. Stewart and wife Donna of McAlester, OK; grandchildren: Debra Batts, Tommy Hampton Jr., Sabrina Fink, Jody Green, Janet Grimes, Greg Huffman, Justin Estes, Marla Estes, Stephanie Montgomery, Jeremy Stewart, Chelsea Thomason, Brooke Hall, and Blake Stewart, along with numerous great-grandchildren and great-greatgrandchildren.

Audrey is preceded in death by her parent, Samuel and Bertha (Jackson) Freeman; husband, Eugene Stewart; son, Robert James Stewart; son-in-law, Wayne Huffman; siblings, Charley Wilburn Freeman, Allie Freeman, Ola Mable Freeman, Edna Marie Freeman, and Vinita Lou Freeman.

Casketbearers were Donnie Batts, Justin Estes, Greg Grimes, William Grimes, Jody Green, Tommy Hampton, Nathan Montgomery and Jeremy Stewart. Honorary bearers were Brooke Hall, Greg Huffman, Blake Stewart, and Chelsea Thomason
