Service held for Albert Vincent Eppes

Services for Albert Vincent Eppes, a Norman resident, were held Sunday, March 1, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coalgate with Mr. Eddie Hogue officiating. Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Eppes was born April 25, 1968 to Pat Eppes and Reba Evon (Austin) Eppes at Lake Charles, LA and passed away February 27, 2020 at Norman, OK at the age of 51 years, 10 months and 2 days.

He graduated high school in 1987 and married Christina Machell Smith on February 4, 2003 at Oklahoma City, OK.

Albert was a Surveyor and worked for Pollard and Whited for 18 years. He was a member of the Oklahoma Surveyors Society and a field boss with Pollard and Whited Surveying. Albert enjoyed fishing, barbecuing, riding motorcycles, whittling, antiques, helping people, collecting rocks, hunting and loved watching football, playing poker with friends and collecting knives.

Survivors include his wife, Christina Machell Eppes of Coalgate, OK; daughter, Amanda Eppes; son, Alex Eppes; grandson, Sheldon Morace; granddaughter, Mya Morace; stepson, William Robinson; step-grandson, Danny Turner; stepdaughters, Shanda Smith and Brittany Robinson; mother, Reba Evon White; sisters, Tammy Craft, Sharon Eppes and Mark Schorzman; brothers, Charles Eppes, Greg Eppes, Scott Hollingshead and Shiela; along with many other nieces, nephews and friends,

He was preceded in death by his father, Pat Eppes; stepfather, James Buck Gibson; step-grandson, Marcus Robinson-Turner; niece, Hannah Craft and brother-inlaw, Jerry Craft.
