Service held for Phillip Charles Clayton Daggs

Funeral services for Phillip Charles Clayton Daggs, a Tupelo resident, were held Saturday, June 13, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coalgate with Pastor Jaymeson Kennedy officiating. Burial was in Riley Cemetery in Olney with Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Daggs was born February 20, 2001 to Christopher and Lannette Faye (Cunningham) Daggs at Van Buren, AR and passed away June 11, 2020 at Coalgate, OK at the age of 19 years, 3 months and 22 days. He graduated from Konawa High School in 2019 and was a fry cook at the Coalgate Sonic. Phillip Charles was a member of the Oak Avenue Baptist Church in Ada. He loved music, football and his friends and family.

Survivors include his mother Lannette Faye (Cunningham) Lamb and husband Daniel of Tupelo, OK; father, Christopher Daggs and wife Sarah of Konawa, OK; brothers, Connor Daggs, William Daggs, and Drystan Daggs; sister Kaitlynn Daggs; maternal grandmother, Jeannette Foster of Keota, OK; paternal grandpa, Phillip Daggs and wife Karen of Keota, OK; step-paternal grandmother, Kimberly Cockrell of Konawa, OK; along with numerous other dearly loved family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Charles Cunningham; maternal step-grandfather, Clay Foster and paternal great-grandparents, Clifton Daggs and Imogene Daggs.

Casketbearers were Mark Cunningham, Anthony Cunningham, Wayne Golden, Dustin Griffis, Williams Daggs and Casey Capps. Honorary casketbearer was Drystan Daggs.
