Funeral services for Clover Wyonzia (Hampton) Riley, a Coalgate resident, will be Thursday, August 6, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coalgate with Bro. Jackie Lewis and Bro. Keith McIntyre officiating. Burial will be in Riley Cemetery in Olney with Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate in charge of arrangements. Family night will be Wednesday evening 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Ms. Riley was born February 10, 1937 to Uel and Annis Irene (Roebuck) Hampton at Coalgate and passed away August 2, 2020 at Coalgate at the age of 83 years, 5 months and 23 days. She attended and graduated from Olney High School in 1955. Clover married Alfred Howard Riley on May 14, 1955 at Ada and they spent 65 wonderful years together. She was a housewife and was a member of the Olney Baptist Church. Clover enjoyed sewing, collecting dolls and figurines, singing, scrapbooking and gardening. She loved to shop at Thrift stores and to be going all the time. One of her greatest treasures was spending time with her family.

Survivors include her husband, Alfred Howard Riley of Olney; children, Arlene (Riley) Stiles of Atoka, Carey Dean Riley and wife Alice of Noble, OK, Alfred Leon Riley of Olney and Jim Nelson Riley and wife Mary of Olney; grandchildren, Shavon Gayle (Riley) Beam and husband Chris of Olney, Shawn Allen Riley of Choctaw, OK, Jaymin Riley, Jaydin Riley and wife Miranda of Ada, Jaycen Riley and wife Kylena of Coalgate, Jaylee Riley of OKC, Miranda (Stiles) Johnson and husband Sterling of Durant; great-grandchildren, Dominic and Divinity Johnson, Hailey and Judson Riley, Justice and Rylee Beam, Kamber Riley and Reed Riley; siblings, Albert Hampton and wife Louise of OKC, Eddie Hampton and wife Mattie of Coalgate, Janey Ybarra and husband Manuel of Olney, Emma Nanney and husband Jerry of Coalgate, Marvin Hampton and wife Julie, Kathy Yount and husband Darrell and Johnny Mac Hampton and wife Diane, all of Olney, OK; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Uel C. Hampton and Kenneth Hampton and son-in-law Jerry Stiles.

Casketbearers will be Arnem Hunt, Sterling Johnson, Chris Beam, Ralph Ybarra, John Hampton, and Todd Coats. Honorary bearers will be Marvin Hampton, Albert Hampton, Eddie Hampton, Johnny Mac Hampton, Jerry Nanney, Manuel Ybarra, Darrell Yount and Chris Hampton.
