Service Thursday for Norma Dell Golden

Funeral services for Norma Dell (Livingston) Golden, a Coalgate resident, will be held Thursday, June 18, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coalgate with Pastor Joey Lansdale officiating. Burial will be in Non Cemetery with Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 17, 2020.

Mrs. Golden was born March 2, 1935 to Herman Hope and Lera V. (Lawrence) Livingston at Olney, OK and passed away June 14, 2020 at Coalgate, OK at the age of 85 years, 3 months and 12 days. She graduated from Olney High School and married Ruel Allen Golden. Norma was a housewife and homemaker. She enjoyed bingo and going to the casinos, yard sales and embroidery. Her greatest joy was spending time with her beloved family and the love of her life, Ruel.

Survivors include her husband, Ruel Allen Golden of Coalgate; son, Ruel “Buster” Golden, Jr. and wife Lisa of Skitook, OK; daughter, Toni Gayle Prince of Lehigh; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Bonnie Schoolcraft of Granite, OK, Betty Graham of Granite, OK, Evelyn Golden of Mangum, OK; special niece, Paula Powell; nieces, Glenda (Livingston)Patti of Longview, TX, Kelley Boyd Hock of Stillwater OK and Herma Hargis of Paden, OK; nephews, Tony Boyd of OKC, Clavin Boyd of Stonewall and Allen Livingston of Coalgate; special friends, Kathy Dutton and Dovie Nichols; along with numerous other dearly loved nieces, nephews, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Noma Zell Livingston; brother, Norman Lawrence Livingston; nephews, Lawrence Livingston and Jeff Livingston; grandson, Luke Childress; father-in-law, Alfred Golden; mother-in law, Madge Golden and brothers-in-law, Johnny Golden, Roy Golden and Ace Schoolcraft.

Casketbearers will be Tony Boyd, Calvin Boyd, Allen Livingston, Jeremiah Golden, Lloyd Golden, and Dale Powell. Honorary bearers will be Shad Barnett, Justin Barnett, Dale Powell II and Dakota Powell.
