Shadow Bayles is the son of Mandy (Smith) Bayles and Omar Bayles, both of Coalgate, and the grandson of Eugene and Brenda Yarbrough, Beverly Layton, and William Smith. He has one sister, Lacy Smith, and two brothers, Terry Bayles and Savion Friar. Shadow has attended Coalgate Schools for thirteen years and is a member of the Wildcat Football, powerlifting, and wrestling teams. His hobbies include hanging out with friends and family and hunting and fishing. After graduation, Shadow plans to attend college and major in Business Management.

Tupelo teacher receives agriculture books through OKFB’s Bushels for Books

Dana Johnson of Tupelo Public Schools was recently selected to receive a bushel basket of accurate agriculture books as part of Oklahoma Farm Bureau’s Bushels for Books program. A collaboration between the OKFB Foundation for Agriculture and the OKFB Women’s Leadership Committee, Bushels for Books is designed to spread agriculture literacy to children around the state through providing a selection of books that accurately portray the agriculture industry.

Funeral services for Gary Lynn Kelly a Boswell resident, formerly a lifelong Lane and Atoka resident, will be held Wednesday, October 25, 2023 (today) at 2:00 p.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Atoka with Bro.
