Here we go again. It is pretty sad when you talk about things when you don’t know what some of the facts are.I know one public official who is not trying to “feather his own nest”. He is not hauling black-top millings on public drives. Those are his millings.

According to the Word of God, Jesus will come back to Earth to destroy the ungodly and wicked humans that survive the deadly events which will start when Jesus breaks each of the seven seals of the Book of God.

“THANKSGIVING; A TIME TO SAVE!”Everybody knows finances are tight today. Now, one can only hope against hope that by the time this column hits your hands, the sentence I just wrote is a lie.

Dear Editor: Here we go again. Public officials need to be accountable and not self serving. Looks as if all they want to do is to feather their own nest at the expense of the taxpayers. Pretty sad when you see these things going on everyday.

I remember my first job as a stock boy at a downtown department store when I was in high school. My main tasks were lifting heavy boxes, unpacking crates, and doing various other jobs. It was an important experience for me.

Different Strokes I was just reading about how folks across the plains are taking the election results of last week. Reminds me of 1944 when the papers (back east) whined and moaned how our “system” allowed such a mental midget (Truman) to replace our late great Roosevelt.He was who he was.

The Coal County Jail Service had a long and successful history. It was started by Pastor Jim Smith of the Pentecostal Holiness Church. For 35 years he missed a service once a year to go to his Church’s Convention or was ill. I started working with him in the last year or so of his ministry.
