The Coal County Genealogical Society met in regular session on December 11, 2023. The meeting was called to order at 10:00 a.m. The meetings are held in the genealogy room located in the Coal County Public Library. One book was bought during the quarter. It was Volume II of the Coal County History Book. We still have a few volumes of both Volume I and Volume II. These books make unique gifts for family members who are interested in their family heritage as well as those just interested in local history.
