Longtime basketball coach Steve Hudson was recently selected to be inducted into the Oklahoma Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame. Hudson, a 1970 Coalgate graduate coached basketball for 40 years on the high school and collegiate levels.

electrical instrumentation program at the Atoka Kiamichi Vo Tech. This is the first year of the electrical instrumentation program and Ayden is one of two students who have taken this course. Ayden plans to attend OSU IT for a degree in Electrical Instrumentation.

Adrian Shipman is the son of Lisa Shipman and Joshua Ingram and the grandson of Angie Shipman and of the late Troy Shipman and of the late Deral and Mary Ingram all of Coalgate. His siblings are Anthony and Alia Shipman and Neveah Ingram. Adrian has attended Cottonwood for one year. While at Cottonwood he was the catcher for the baseball team and a member of FCCLA. His favorite things to do are playing on his phone, fishing, hunting and helping his dad work on and fix things. Adrian plans to attend Coalgate High School next year.
