Lenus Leon Batchelor, 72, of Tupelo, OK, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at his loving daughter’s home, surrounded by his family. Lenus was born on September 19, 1952 in Coalgate, OK to his parents, Leonard Leon Batchelor and Maggie Faye Batchelor (Sanders). He attended and graduated at Olney High School in 1970 and he went on to become a well respected and trusted automotive mechanic and proud fireman for over thirtyfour years.

Burial was in Green Meadows Cemetery in Atoka with Brown’s Funeral Service of Atoka in charge of arrangements. Casketbearers were Lynn Wallis, Brody Wallis, Reese Wallis, Cory Raper, Rowan Raper, Greg Staggs, Trevor Foran, Stefan Brown, and Don Deaton. Honorary bearers were the Atoka Truck Stop Coffee Drinkers.

Geneva Louiese (Taylor) Dulin, a Coalgate resident, was born September 16, 1939 to John Thomas Taylor and Allie Marie (Constant) Linam at Napa, CA and passed away December 17, 2024 at Coalgate at the age of 85 years, 3 months and 1 day. Geneva attended V a c a v i l l e High School in California. She was a tax preparer and worked in bookkeeping. Geneva married Bill Westbrook and after his passing she married Jefferson Dulin. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and cooking.
