Our dear mother, Lola Mae English, passed away peacefully at her home on March 17, 2024, at the age of 84. She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her. She also had many friends and was a well-loved community member in Coalgate, OK. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.

Ruthell “Ruth” (Swindell) Gibbins, a Coalgate resident, passed away March 1, 2024 at Ada, OK at the age of 84 years, 6 months and 26 days. She was born August 4, 1939 to Luther Cecil and Matilda “Tillie” (Hill) Swindell at Idabel, OK. Mrs. Gibbins attended school at Farris, OK and was a homemaker.

Howard Lee Nelson a lifelong resident, farmer and rancher of Olney, Oklahoma passed away on March 3, 2024, at the age of 76 years, and 17 days. He was born on February 15, 1948, to Samuel “Buddy” and Gladys Pierce Nelson at Ada, Oklahoma.

Graveside services for Jeffrey “Shorty” Pope, Jr. were held Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Riley Cemetery in Olney, OK. Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate was in charge of arrangements.

Funeral services for Nadine McIninch, an Atoka resident since 1959 and raised in Olney, OK, were held Friday, March 8, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Southside Baptist Church in Atoka with Rev. Chris McDaniel and Rev. Ryan Meadows officiating.

Services for Russell Holcomb , an Atoka resident, will be held Saturday, March 16, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Green Meadows Cemetery Pavilion in Atoka with Lee Wayne Seabourn officiating.Russell was a 1992 graduate of Tushka High School.

Billy Rice, 92, of Ada, passed away February3, 2024 in Ada, OK. A memorial service will be held on April 25, 2024 at the First United Methodist Church in Ada with burial at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Wapanucka, Oklahoma.
