James “Jimmy” Joe Davis, 74, of Coalgate, Oklahoma, passed on March 17, 2024, at Coalgate. Jimmy was born to Joe Dean and Zona Faye Davis on November 18, 1949, in Bakersfield, California. He graduated from Olney High School in 1968. After he graduated, he enlisted in the U.S.

Ruthell “Ruth” (Swindell) Gibbins, a Coalgate resident, passed away March 1, 2024 at Ada, OK at the age of 84 years, 6 months and 26 days. She was born August 4, 1939 to Luther Cecil and Matilda “Tillie” (Hill) Swindell at Idabel, OK. Mrs. Gibbins attended school at Farris, OK and was a homemaker.

Howard Lee Nelson a lifelong resident, farmer and rancher of Olney, Oklahoma passed away on March 3, 2024, at the age of 76 years, and 17 days. He was born on February 15, 1948, to Samuel “Buddy” and Gladys Pierce Nelson at Ada, Oklahoma.
