Althear graduated from Atoka High School in 1970 and attended Murray State College and became a CNA. She married Simon Finley, Jr. on Saturday, September 17, 1977, in Atoka, OK. She was a member of the 4 Ward Church of Christ. She lived to shop, go to church, and spend time with her family, and her favorite color was red.
