Funeral services for Patricia Ann (Estes) Hampton, a Cottonwood resident, were held Sunday, April 18, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coalgate with Bro. Jim Lewis officiating. Burial was in Moore Cemetery with Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate in charge of arrangements.

Funeral services for Zinda Zane Ennis, a Coalgate, OK resident, were held Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Coalgate Nazarene Church with Rev. Rhoda Montecastro and Rev. Ken Brown officiating.

Private services are pending for Juanita Grace Duty of Stonewall. Juanita was born September 29, 1922 in WELDING Ada, OK to John and Julie Laxton and passed away April 3, 2021 at the age of 98. She was married to Houston Duty until his death at age 91 in 2010.

Pamela Denise (Criner) Sefcik, age 61, an Atoka, OK resident, was born on Monday, October 26, 1959, to Donald and Virginia May (Williams) Criner, at Coalgate, OK. Pamela passed away on Friday, April 9, 2021 at Atoka, OK. She attended Tushka High School.

A memorial service will for Mary Jo Cobbs will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2021, 2:00 p.m. at the Coalgate First Baptist Church with snacks and visitation afterward in the Fellowship Hall. Mary Josephine (Jo) Armer was born March 30, 1932, in Phillips to Luther and Charlotte (Kupiec) Armer.

Funeral services for Edith Lucille (Hicks) Deskin, a Durant resident, formerly of Coalgate, were held Friday, April 9, 2021 at 11:00 at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coalgate with Pastor Richard Magby officiating.

Marion Emry Floyd died on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 in Oklahoma City, OK after a long illness. He was born August 10, 1937 in Coalgate, OK to Curtis and Geneva (Emry) Floyd. He married his high school sweetheart, Norma Sue Estes on September 3, 1955. They were married for 54 years.

Former Coalgate resident, Edith (Hicks) Deskin, passed away April 6, 2021 at Durant at the age of 88. Mrs. Deskin taught school at Coalgate for 25 years. Visitation will be held Friday, April 9, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coalgate with service following at 11:00 a.m.

Funeral services for Deborah Elizabeth Martin, will be held Thursday, April 8, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coalgate with Pastor Larry Beach officiating. Burial will be in Byrd’s Prairie Cemetery with Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate in charge of arrangements.
