Funeral services for Scotty Ray Hedgecock, a Coalgate resident, will be held Wednesday (today), September 25, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coalgate with Mr. Danny Ward officiating.

Harvey Lou Pebworth, age 82, passed away the evening of Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at the Mary Hurley Hospital in Coalgate, Oklahoma. He leaves behind his children, grandchildren, friends, his brother Lonnie Pebworth, and his sister Trudy Conrad. Born in Oklahoma to Juanita and Lonnie Z.

Services for Billy Lee Gold, 65, of Ada were at 2 p.m. Monday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel. His sons-in-law, Scott Morgan and Derek Collins, officiated. Burial followed at Centrahoma Cemetery. Mr.

Funeral services for Lenora (Childress) Mayer, a Coalgate resident, were held Saturday, August 31, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Coalgate United Methodist Church with Pastor Lyle Shipley officiating. Burial was in Coalgate Cemetery with Brown’s Funeral Service of Coal-gate in charge of arrangements.

Merle Lee Daniel, 77, of Midland, TX passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2019. He was born on October 17, 1941 to Amos Jackson Daniel and Juanita ‘Groves’ Daniel, Weaver. He grew up mostly in the state of Oklahoma and proudly served as a Field Radio Repairman for the National Guard from 1959-1963.

Funeral services for Gary Wayne “Donk” Dority, a Coalgate resident, will be Thursday, August 29, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coalgate with Pastor Eddie Hogue officiating, assisted by Pake McEntire and Johnny D. Ward. Family night will be Wednesday evening 6:00 to 8:00.

Willard Thomas “Dub” Laster, 92 year old Holdenville, Oklahoma resident and former Coal-gate and Maud, Oklahoma resident passed from this life Saturday, August 24, 2019 at his home in Holdenville surrounded by his loving family.

Marty Alton Gore was born to Alton and Lavon (Krows) Gore on October 20, 1970 in Mooreland, OK. He attended Seiling Public Schools and graduated in 1989. He was a true Wildcat and played football, basketball, and baseball. He was a member of the 1988 State Championship Seiling Football Team.
