Charles “Chuck” Evan Dorff, Sr., age 83, a Coalgate resident, passed away June 22, 2019 at Coalgate at the age of 83 years, 4 months and 21 days. He was born February 1, 1936 to Leland and Jesse Maurine (Seale) Dorff at Texas. Chuck was a machinist and fabricator for heavy equipment.

Amanda Rose Smith, an Ada resident, passed away June 9, 2019 at Ada at the age of 35. She was born October 6, 1983 to Jimmy and Melissa Ellen (Preheim) Smith at Dinuba, CA. She attended Cooper, Hamilton and Fresno High School all in Fresno, CA. Amanda was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting.

Funeral services for Hillmon Bill Ward, a longtime Coalgate resident, will be held Thursday, June 13, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coalgate with Jack Wilson officiating. Burial will be in the Ward Family Cemetery.

Memorial services for Garry Joe Clemens, an Atoka resident, were held Friday, June 7, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coal-gate with Calvin Prince officiating. Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate was in charge of arrangements.

Services for Mary Ann Gault Plunk Curry, 85, of Allen are 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 6th , at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. John Mixon and Joe Chapin will officiate. Burial will follow at the Atoka Cemetery. Mrs. Curry passed away Sunday, June 9, 2019 at her home.

John Riley Spencer, age 85, of Broken Arrow, OK, died at home on May 17, 2019. He was born on June 24, 1933, to David E. and Effa Jewel (Walker) Spencer in Edmond, OK. He was the third of three children. His brother John David Spencer was born and died in 1920.

Funeral services for Teresa Pauline (Tudor) Baughman, a longtime Wapanucka, OK resident, will be Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Atoka, OK with Bro. Joey Lansdale officiating.

Mona Christine (Thompson) Man-ion, an Atoka County resident, was born on November 6, 1941 to Eugene Wade and Alla Mildred (Bozarth) Thompson at Mesa, AZ. Mona passed away May 31, 2019 at Durant, OK at the age of 77. She attended and graduated from Shafter School in California.

Meta Kay Milligan, 74, of McAlester, passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 in McAlester.  A memorial service was held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church with Dr. Matt Judkins officiating. Cremation arrangements entrusted to Bishop Funeral Service and Crematory.
