EARLY VOTING BEGINS NOVEMBER 13

Early voting begins Thursday, November 13th for voters in Coal County. Voters who will not be able to make it to the polls on Election Day, have the option of voting early at their County Election Board.Coal County Election Board Secretary Amber Fanning said early voting is open to all voters.

The Coalgate Wildcats drop their contest against Dibble on the road.The Wildcats (2-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Tishomingo. The Indians enter the 2A-II District 2 challenge with a 3-6 record. In their last challenge, Tishomingo was ripped by Beggs, 34-19, in a league challenge.

Coalgate Falls to Beggs on the Road

The Beggs came up with the win over the visiting Coalgate Wildcats 56-19 in Friday’s league game.The Wildcats (2-6) will now prepare for their game against Dibble (Dibble, OK). The Demons enter the 2A-II District 2 game with a 6-2 record. In their last game, Dibble overwhelmed Tishomingo 63-6.

Wildcats Come Up Short Against Seasoned Davis Squad

The Davis Wolves football squad scored 56 points and limited the visiting Coalgate Wildcats to 8 in the Wolves league triumph on Thursday.With the defeat, Coalgate falls to 2-5 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Beggs to battle the Demons in a 2A-II District 2 game on Friday, October 24.

In Friday's league battle, the visiting Community Christian Royals football team scored a tight 13-12 win over the Coalgate Wildcats for the homecoming contest. It was a hard fought game showing major improvements for the Coalgate squad.With the defeat, Coalgate drops to 2-4 on the campaign.
