Graveside services for Aaron Lee McKinney, a Wapanucka resident, will be held Friday, November 11, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Riley Cemetery. Visitation was Friday, November 3, 2023 6:00 p.m.to 8:00 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate.

Aaron was born September 10, 1961 to John Lawson and Evelyn Joice (Riley) McKinney at Lawton , OK and passed away October 30, 2023 at Wapanucka at the age of 62 years, 1 month and 21 days. He attended Snyder High School and Olney High School and was a heavy equipment operator. Aaron enjoyed singing, playing the harmonica, camping, playing cards and dominoes. He loved playing with Witten and Hadley.

Survivors include his wife, Yulinda Williams of Wapanucka;daughter,Tiffany McKinney-Roebuck and husband Chris of Coalgate; granddaughters, Selena Sandoval, Brooklynn Luna and Christena McKinney; great-grandchildren, Roman Dixon, Zaelynn Rodriguez and Crymsyn Dixon; stepchildren, Nakoda Brumley of Wapanucka and Tasha Pylant and husband Colin of Bridge Port, TX; stepgrandchildren, Hadley Pylant, Witten Pylant, Emily Brumley, Dallin Renfro, Ruger Wingfield, Greyson Brumley, Maycie Drumm, Tobias Drumm, and Ledger Drumm; mother, Evelyn McKinney of Snyder, OK; siblings, Jeannette Foster of Olney, Mary Mutter of Huntsville, TX, Julie Breger and husband Jessie of Olney, Lori Cardona of Mt. Park, OK, Gail Standridge of Coalgate, Jeffrey McKinney of Mt. Park, OK, Norma McPherson and husband Doug of Georgia and Sonny McKinney of Tempton, OK; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dearly loved friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, John McKinney and brothers, Clint McKinney and Joseph McKinney.
