Angela Estep Wallace passes away

Angela Estep Wallace, a resident of Cordell, OK, was born July 14, 1964, in Monroe County, Florida to Wesley Arthur Estep and Anna Loetta (Keeler) Estep. She passed away December 22, 2021, at Tulsa, OK.

Angela was a resident of Coalgate and Lehigh for many years and still has family in the area. She attended Coalgate Public Schools and graduated in 1982. She attended East Central University for a short while and went on in July 1991 to become a certified nurse for 28 years. She also earned a business degree from Kiamichi Technology Center in December 2003. Her biggest passions were helping others and especially being with her family, but most importantly her children and grandchildren.

Angela is survived by her daughter Alexis and husband Logan Sutton of Cordell, OK, and grandchildren Cayden and Tristan Pugh and Meliah Sutton; daughter Alecia Cardec and wife Yanixel of North Pole, AK; brother Pat Estep and his son Patrick Estep of Lehigh, OK; brother Dale Estep of Stringtown, OK; aunt Leona Jensen of Azalea, OR; aunt Barbara Rose of Wister, OK; nieces and nephews Wesley Estep and wife Carrie of Tulsa, OK; Chanda Estep of Stringtown, OK; Sheena Wood and husband of Tulsa, OK; Jennifer Wood of Tulsa, OK; Latrisha Estep of Coalgate, OK; Scotty Estep and wife Natasha of Oklahoma; and JW Cottrell of Lehigh, OK.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wesley Arthur Estep and Anna Loetta (Keeler) Estep of Lehigh, OK; son John Wesley Adam Wallace of Missouri; brother William Estep of Lehigh, OK; sister Brenda Wood of Beggs, OK; infant sister Regina Estep; and several aunts and uncles.

Angela’s wishes were to be cremated and to have a memorial service to remember her life and all the good things. The service will be announced by her daughters Alexis Sutton and Alecia Cardec at a later date.
