Funeral services for Billie Pearl (King) Lee, a Coalgate resident, were held Saturday, November 14, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Cornerstone Praise and Worship Center with Bro. David Unsell officiating. Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Lee was born August 3, 1929 to Jewel King and Thad Pearl (White) Giaudrone, at Ft. Towson, OK and passed away November 11, 2020 at Coalgate, OK at the age of 91 years, 3 months and 8 days. She attended Cairo School, graduated from Coalgate High School and went to nursing school in Dallas, TX. Billie married Douglas Eugene Lee September 12, 1949 at Denison, TX and he preceded her in death November 30, 1994. Billie was a homemaker, CNA, machine operator at Blue Bell and a babysitter for her grandchildren and children in the community. She was an excellent cook. Billie was a member of the Cornerstone Praise and Worship Center in Coalgate, OK. She loved crocheting and quilting and made grave blankets.

Survivors include her children, Carol Unsell and husband David, Wayne Lee and wife Nannette, Larry Lee all of Coalgate and Philip Lee and wife Jeana of Cottonwood, OK; brother, Don Henry King and wife Edna of Atoka, OK; nine grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Eugene Lee; parents, Jewel King and Thad Pearl (White) Giaudrone; stepfather, George Giaudrone; brother, Emory King; brother-in-law, Bobby George Lee; and sisters-in-law, Vernice Lee and Pauline Hodges.

Casketbearers were Hank Howe, Charles Canida, Brian Lee, Parker Lee, Neil Salmon, and Woodrow King. Condolences may be sent to the
