Funeral services for Bobby Gene Willard, a Coalgate resident, were held Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at 10:00 a.m at Coalgate Church of Christ with Bryan Franks officiating, assisted by Gary Guinn. Burial was in the McCarty Cemetery with Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Willard was born November 7, 1938 to Clarence E. and Effie (Perkins) Willard at Non, OK and passed away October 29, 2022 at his home in Coalgate at the age of 83 years, 11 months and 22 days. He attended Lone Star School and graduated from Coalgate High School Class of 1957. Bobby served in the United States Air Force from November 18, 1957 to December 31, 1977. He served during the Korea War Conflict. Bobby was a truck driver. He married Sharon Kay Willard December 19, 1958 at Coalgate, OK. She preceded him in death August 27, 2014. He later married Linda (Snider) Willard on January 15, 2016 at Coalgate. Bobby was a member of the Church of Christ and enjoyed Blue Grass music and going to festivals.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Willard of the home in Coalgate; sons, Eddie Willard of Seagoville, TX and Robert Willard of Houston, TX; step-sons, Rodney Levingston and wife Kathy of Gilmer, TX; grandchildren, Kyle Willard and wife Sadye of Kaufman, TX, Laura Kay Yarbrough and husband James of Denison, TX, Sean Willard and wife Jenna of Dallas, TX, Ryne Willard and wife Jaycee of Norfolk, VA, Cheyenne Willard of Houston, TX; twenty-one great-grandchildren; brother- in- law, Michael Ray Jones and wife Carol of Oklahoma; sisterin- law, Debbie Southern of Coalgate; caregivers, Kimber Rowan Nabors, Brenda Eaves and Vickie Klarich; along with numerous other relatives and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence E. and Effie (Perkins) Willard; wife, Sharon Kay Willard; sibling, Jessie Lee Zachary, Pauline Hollman, Houston Willard and Cletus Willard; brothers-in-law, Orval Southern and Ronnie Rainey; daughter-in-law, Judy Willard.

Casketbearers were Kyle Willard, Sean Willard, Ryne Willard, Harris Zachary, Dale Zachary and Kenny Hollman; Honorary bearers were Mike Jones, Michael Jones, Larry McCollum, Buddy Garvin, Gary Guinn and Leon Snider.
