Mrs. Daffern was born January 27, 1940 to William and Ruth Ora (Potts) Finney at Denver, CO and passed away January 19, 2019 at Coalgate, OK at the age of 78 years, 11 months and 23 days. She attended Denver, CO and Casa Grande, AZ schools and completed her GED. Christine was a Certified Nurse Assistant and married James Leon Daffern. He preceded her in death in September 1993. Christine was of the Pentecostal faith She enjoyed the challenge of all kinds of puzzles. She also enjoyed her picture albums, collecting pictures and books. Christine loved and enjoyed visiting with her family.

Survivors include her children, Curtis Daffern and wife Sandra of Corum, OK, Joyce Harger and husband Mike of Tupelo, OK, James Daffern and wife Jodi of Walters, OK, Iven Daffern and wife Amanda of Porum, OK, Ruth Chamberlain and husband Marc of Tupelo, OK and Tina Neal and husband James of Ada, OK; seventeen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; along with numerous other relatives, and many dear and loved friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, William Allen Finney; mother, Ruth Ora (Potts) Echols;

husband, James Leon Daffern; son, Jimmy Ray Daffern; and daughters, Nancy Ellen Haddock and Thelma Jean Daffern.
