Guy Junior Knight

Funeral services for Guy Junior Knight, a long time Lehigh resident, were held Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Lehigh Baptist Church with Bro. Richard Magby officiating. Burial was in Lehigh Cemetery with Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Knight was born on June 12, 1945, to Guy and Jessie Irene (Dornon) Knight, at Alva, Oklahoma. Guy passed away on August 25, 2025, at Oklahoma City, at the age of 80 years, 2 months and 13 days.

HegraduatedfromDrumwright High School. Guy was a heavy equipment mechanic, truck driver, and gold prospector. Guy proudly served his country in The United States Army during the Vietnam War conflict. He married Jennifer Ann Edwards on June 11, 1971, at Muskogee. Guy was a faithful member of Lehigh Baptist Church. He was a member of the Lehigh Fire Department from 2000 to 2016 and was Assistant Fire Chief during some of that time. Guy was also a member of the GPAA, LDMA and the Christian Biker Club. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and side by side.

Survivors include his daughter, Dana Knight of Coalgate; sons, Chris Knight of Lehigh and Matthew Knight and wife Heather of Coalgate; grandchildren, Emily Knight and Jacob Knight and wife Emma all of Coalgate; sister, Robin Dickenson of Drumwright, OK; along with numerous dearly loved friends and family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Jessie Irene (Dornon) Knight; wife, Jennifer Ann Knight; and sisters, Sandra Silcott, Marylou Hunziker and Jackie Kelley.

Honorary bearers were Ethan Fomby, Paul Villareal, Tony Airington, Cecil Holt and Dee Hensley.
