Funeral services for Josephine Tramble, a Coalgate resident since 1995, formerly San Angelo, TX were held Saturday, November 30, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coalgate with Dr. Famous Cochran officiating. Burial was in Finley Cemetery in Coal County with Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Tramble was born July 4, 1948 to William and Lina (Dick) Harrison in Atoka County, OK and passed away November 26, 2019 at her home in Coalgate at the age of 71 years, 4 months and 22 days.

She attended and graduated from Booker T. Washington in Plainview, TX and attended West Texas State University in Canyon, TX and graduated from St. Louis Municipal School in 1973. Josephine worked as a RN at Homer G. Phillips Hospital in St. Louis, MO, the Methodist Hospital in Dallas, TX, retiring from Shannon Hospital in San Angelo, TX in 2016, after being a RN or 43 years. She married Dale Tramble and was a member of the Shiloh Baptist Church in Lehigh. She was very active in keeping the Church active after the passing of Martherene and she loved to sew, crafts, and quilting was her greatest joy.

Survivors include her sisters, Evelyn Holmes of Coalgate, LaVerne Cross of Carson, CA, Christine Lott of Cleveland, Ohio, and Jo Anne Fennell and husband Reynaldo of Seagerville, TX; brothers, William Harrison Jr. of Hutchinson, KS, and Leonard Harrison and wife Arletha of Palmdale, CA; along with nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear and loved friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brothers, Leroy Harrison and Marion Harrison and sister Ruby Lee Hallman.
