Keath McMillan

Memorial service for Olan Keath McMillan, a Coalgate resident, will be Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coalgate with Kevin Keath McMillan and Stuart Ray McMillan officiating. Brown’s Funeral Service of Coal-gate is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. McMillan was born December 7, 1923 to Olan and Bertie (Denny) McMillan at Haileyville, OK and passed away February 25, 2019 at Coalgate, OK at the age of 95 years, 2 months and 18 days. He attended and graduated from Coal County Schools and furthered his education at Murray State College obtaining his associates degree. Keath was a retired veteran and rancher. He proudly served his country in the U. S. Army for 27 years, serving in WWII and the Korean War. In 1983 he married Nora Gene Hunt and she preceded him in death in 2011. Keath was a member of the Coalgate Church of Christ and enjoyed ranching and horse breeding.

Survivors include his sons, Kevin Mc-Millan and wife Becky of Newalla, OK and Stuart McMillan and wife Christa of Tulsa, OK; step-children, Eddie McElroy and wife Linda of Enid, OK and Liza Hogue and husband Michael of Dallas, TX; grandchildren, Stacy Maker and husband Chris of Dallas, TX, Jason McMillan of Harrah, OK, Dustin McMillan of San Antonio, TX, Lauren McMillan of Denton, TX, and Jennifer Nicole Panther of TX; two great grandchildren, Mackenzie Panther and Maddi-son Panther; daughter-in-law, Mary Hill of West Jordan, UT; along with other relatives and many dear and loved friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; son, Jack McMillan; sisters, Beola Mullen and Eileen Gordon and brother, Thea Mc-Millan.
