Funeral services for Mary Annece (McLellan) Strickland, a Choctaw resident, will be held Thursday, June 23, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coalgate with Greg Kennedy officiating. Burial will be in Cairo Cemetery with Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 22, 2022, 1:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the chapel.

Mrs. Strickland was born February 17, 1949, to Levi Jefferson and Mildred Christine (Ennis) McLellan at Thousand Oaks, CA and passed away June 16, 2022, at Midwest City, OK at the age of 73 years, 3 months, and 30 days. She graduated from Thousand Oaks High School in California and was a home health aide for many years until her retirement. Mary was a member of the First Baptist Church of Choctaw and enjoyed watching movies, reading, and playing online games on her tablet. She was dedicated to the care of her disabled son. Her favorite times were spent with her family.

She is survived by her children, Kenneth Strickland and husband Chris Milsap of Del City, OK, Valerie Reynolds, Gale Howard and husband Scott all of Moore, OK, Lola Strickland, Luther Strickland, both of Choctaw, OK, Shar Williams and husband Ted of Pauls Valley, OK; grandchildren, Scott Howard and wife Juanita of Yukon, OK, William Howard and fiance’ Rachel of Oklahoma City, Wyatt Howard, Delilah Reynolds, Jacquelyn Reynolds, all of Moore, OK and Brandon Williams of Newcastle, OK; six great-grandchildren and one on the way; siblings, Robert McLellan of Harrah, OK, Larry McLellan and wife Doris of Ada, OK, Sharon McLellan of Midwest City, and Barry McLellan of Athens, AL; along with numerous nieces, nephews and many dearly loved friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Levi Jefferson, and Mildred Christine (Ennis) McLellan and brothers, James McLellan, Alan McLellan, David McLellan, and Joseph Mc-Lellan.

Casket bearers will be Robert McLellan, Barry Mc-Lellan, Scott Howard, Ted Williams, Scott T. Howard, and Wyatt Howard.
