Funeral services for Mary Frances Paige, a lifelong Atoka resident, (lived in Tushka since 1962), were held Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Atoka, OK, officiated by Otis Lee “Buddy” Faulkenberry III. Burial was in Tushka Cemetery with Brown’s Funeral Service of Atoka in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Paige was born September 21, 1942 to Otis Lee and Susie Margaret (Grimsley) Faulkenberry at Atoka, OK and passed away December 7, 2021 at Atoka at the age of 79 years, 2 months and 16 days. She graduated from Atoka High School in 1960 and married Jerry Lee Paige August 11, 1961 at Atoka. They celebrated 60 years of marriage in August.

Mary worked a number of years at Atoka Hospital and worked over 20 years and retired in 2012 from Wal-Mart in Atoka. She was a member of Tushka Baptist Church in her younger years and loved to sing with her sister Joyce Willis and Arvel Hall. Mary enjoyed taking photos at family celebrations and reunions. She loved being a wife, mother and granny, loved to sing, sew, using electronic equipment and gadgets and was an avid QVC shopper.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry Lee Paige of the home in Tushka; daughters, Patricia Strader and husband Greg of Sanger, TX, Gina Hall and husband, George of Boggy Depot and Brenda Seay of Atoka; grandchildren, Chance Hall and wife Misty of Boggy Depot, Garland Leon Seay and wife Alisha of Hartshorne, OK and Adam Seay of Ada; great-grandchildren, Olivia Hall, Samuel Hall and Liam Hall; brothers, Johnny Faulkenberry and wife Nellie of Lehigh, OK, and O. L. Faulkenberry and wife Frankie of Atoka; sisters, Betty Burch of Canton, TX and Margaret Belcher of Kingston, OK; brother-in-law, Larry Daniel Paige; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Otis Lee and Susie Margaret (Grimsley) Faulkenberry; sister, Joyce Willis; brothers-in-law, Don Willis, Jerry Burch and Homer Belcher, Sr.; son-in-law, Garland Douglas Seay; sisters-in-law, Charlotte Poole, and Betty Smith; nephew, Billy Willis, Sr.

Casketbearers were Jimmy Willis, Robbie Grimsley, Larry Taylor, Homer Lee Belcher, Jr., Tom Metzler, and Randy Grimsley; honorary bearers were George Hall, Chance Hall, Brandon Morris, Garland Seay and Greg Strader.
