Our sympathies extended to the families of...

Funeral services for Karon Kay Clark, a lifelong Atoka County resident, will be held Thursday, August 18, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Atoka with Rev. Vic Cook officiating. Burial will be in Tushka Cemetery with Brown’s Funeral Service of Atoka in charge of arrangements.

Ms. Clark was born February 5, 1956, to Louis and Patsy Jean (Lain) Taylor at Oklahoma City and passed away August 13, 2022, at Atoka, OK at the age of 66 years, 6 months, and 8 days. She attended school in Oklahoma City, Tupelo and graduated from Tushka High School in 1974 and then went on to attend Southeastern Oklahoma State University College.

Karon was a housewife and homemaker. She married Jerry Dean Williams July 27, 1974, at Atoka and later married Randy Wayne Williamson July 2, 1979, at Atoka. He preceded her in death September 4, 1995, after 16 years of marriage. Karon later married Robert “Bob” Clark on July 30, 1998, at Wapanucka. He preceded her in death November 1, 2019, after 21 years of marriage.

Karon was a member of Pleasant View Free Will Baptist Church, Tushka Booster Club, and a proud member of Choctaw Nation. She taught Sunday School at Pleasant View, enjoyed watching the western channel, dancing, traveling, visiting with her children and grandchildren, and loved living life at its fullest.

Survivors include her children, Shawn Reed Williams and wife Martha of Chapel Hill, NC, Jamie Kay Richardson and husband Marion of Tushka, OK, Kelly Williamson of Hugo,

OK, Cindy (Williamson) Hicks of Hugo, OK, Wendy (Williamson) Phillips and husband Brad of Powderly, TX, Debra Clark Williamson of Moore, OK, Robert Joseph Clark of Del City, OK, Misty Brenner and husband Joe of Joplin, MO; mother, Patsy Rose of Tushka, OK; grandchildren, Saige Williams, Brynn Williams, Isaac Johnson, Lilly Richardson, Blake Richardson, Bria Richardson, Savannah Richardson, Leighla Richardson, Kara Benson, Taylor Williamson, Riona Williamson, Wyatt Payne, Connor Williamson, Parker Brenner, Colton Brenner, Gage Clark, Zachary Clark, Justice Clark; great-grandchildren, Khloe Richardson, Reece Richardson; father of her children, Jerry Dean Williams and wife Wanda of Atoka; sisters, Gloria Jean Eddings, Deborah Sue Stewart, and Judith Taylor all of Tushka; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Louis James Taylor; husbands, Randy Wayne Williamson, Robert “Bob” Clark; granddaughter, Britteny Williamson; and brother, David Taylor.

Casketbearers will be Thomas Begley, Dusty Hawkins, J. B. Grothe, Hershal Hawkins, Ricky Eagleberger, and Brandon Reinbold. Honorary bearers will be Jerry Cantrell, Sr., Bob Ellison, Hooter McIninch, Freddy Taylor and Grover Dale Taylor.
