Funeral services for Zinda Zane Ennis, a Coalgate, OK resident, were held Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Coalgate Nazarene Church with Rev. Rhoda Montecastro and Rev. Ken Brown officiating.

Zinda was born June 24, 1958 to Arthur and Barbara Ann (Wilson) Thompson at Antlers, OK and passed away April 14, 2021 at Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 62 years 9 months and 21 days. She attended Farris Public School and Atoka High School. Zinda also obtained her CNA certification from the Kiamichi Technology Center.

She was a housewife and homemaker and worked as a CNA for a few years. She married Wendell Earl Nichols on April 28, 1989 in Coalgate, OK. She later married James Lowell Ennis April 27, 2007 at Coalgate. Zinda was raised Baptist and attended the Coalgate Nazarene Church. She loved riding horses, being outdoors, growing flowers, listening to music, being a mom and especially loved being a grandmother.

Survivors include her children, Lindsay Gaylor and husband David of Coalgate, Atlanta Graves and husband William of Tushka, OK; grandchildren, Nicholas Horn, Maci Gaylor, and Brayarlynn Zane Graves; sisters, Quetha Milam of Oklahoma City, Tammy Thompson and Sheila Thompson, both of Atoka; brother John Thompson of Antlers, OK; aunts, Johnnie Wilson of Paris, TX and Louise Crews of Lane, OK; along with nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Barbara Ann (Wilson) Thompson; mom and dad, Carol and Billy Wilson; brothers, Carl Dale Thompson and Jackie Thompson; first husband, Wendell Nichols; and second husband, James Ennis.
