Sally Jean Kimsey

A private burial was held at Wardville Cemetery recently for Sally Jean Kimsey. Sally, a Wardville resident, was born on March 19, 1953 to Ray Bernard and Ruby May (Hooe) Williams, at McAlester, OK and passed away July 29, 2025 at Coalgate, OK at the age of 72 years, 4 months and 10 days. Sally graduated from Kiowa High School and obtained her Bachelor’s Degree at the Oklahoma State University. She was a member of the Methodist Church and enjoyed ranching and fishing.

Survivors include her husband, Terry Lee Kimsey of the home in Wardville; grandchildren, Travis, Lillian and Jamison Sulliven of Wardville; and sister, Molly Parker and husband Tony of McAlester, OK.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray Bernard and Ruby May (Hooe) Williams.

Casketbearers were Jack Shirley, Travis Sullivan, Chris Foris, Brian Foris, Matt Hooe and Daniel Kimsey. Honorary bearers were Paul Hooe and Matt McEntire.
