Service Friday for Ronald Alman Pierce

Services for Ronald Alman Pierce, a lifelong Stringtown, OK resident, will be held Friday, September 10, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at South Atoka Church of Christ in Atoka with Bro, Joey Lansdale officiating. Brown’s Funeral Service of Atoka is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Pierce was born April 16, 1947 to Willie Alman and Mary Lee (Kennedy) Pierce at Stringtown, OK and passed away September 4, 2021 at Denison, TX at the age of 74 yeas, 4 months and 19 days. He graduated from Stringtown High School and was a plant supervisor for OCI in Stringtown.

Ronald proudly served his country in the National Guard and married Paula Gail (Hensley) June 18, 1966 at Stringtown. They celebrated 55 years of marriage before his passing. Ronald enjoyed hunting, carpentry, gardening and loved spending time with Stringtown; sons, Shawn Alman Pierce and wife Cephalene of Talihina, OK and Cory Brent Pierce and wife Mary of Atoka; grandchildren, Alyssa Slade, Pierce, Conner his family.

Survivors include his wife, Paula Gail Pierce of the home in Stringtown; sons, Shawn Alman Pierce and wife Cephalene of Talihina, OK and Cory Brent Pierce and wife Mary of Atoka; grandchildren, Alyssa Slade, Mikayla Pierce, Conner Pierce, Gavin Pierce, Keagan Pierce, Olivia Pierce, Gavin Jackson Pierce, and Cameron Pierce; great-grandchildren, Edella Pierce, AbiDale Slade, Idalie Slade, and Liam Slade; sister Sherry Farris of Coalgate; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Alman and Mary Lee (Kennedy) Pierce; brother, Roger David Pierce; sister, Sharlotte Pierce and infant son, Andy Ray Pierce.
