Funeral services for Allie Louise (Doughty) Hampton, a McLoud resident, were held Saturday, October 30, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coalgate with Bro. Richard Magby officiating. Burial was in Moore Cemetery in Clarita with Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate in charge if arrangements.

Mrs. Hampton was born June 11, 1942 to James Marshall and Truman (Conner) Doughty at Hickman, KY and passed away October 26, 2021 at McLoud, OK at the age of 79 years, 4 months and 15 days. She received her GED and was a production technician for Lucent Technologies where she retired in 2001. Allie married Uel Nelson Hampton, Jr. March 29, 1959 a Madill, OK. She was of the Pentecostal Holiness faith and enjoyed gardening and canning. Allie loved cooking big meals for her family.

Survivors include her husband, Uel Hampton, Jr.; son, Christopher Hampton and wife Cindy of Oklahoma City; daughter, Lisa Hampton of McLoud, OK; grandsons, James Hampton and wife, Kendra of Oklahoma City and Brian Hampton and girlfriend, Ayla Schones of El Reno, OK; great-granddaughter, Layla Schones of El Reno, OK; brother, Pete Doughty and wife, Gloria of North Dinwiddie, VA; along with numerous nieces, nephews and many deary loved friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Marshall and Truman (Conner) Doughty; infant son, James Charles Hampton; infant daughter, Rita Cheryl Hampton; brothers, JM, Albert, Frank, Fred, Earl and Robert Doughty; sisters, Elsie Brockwell, Esther Evans, Grace Perry, Mary Hester, Ann Taylor, and Brenda McWright.
