Service held for Irene Stutte

Funeral services for Irene (Williams) Stutte, formerly a long time Clarita resident, were held Saturday, September 7, 2019 at10:00 a.m. at Coalgate First Baptist Church with Bro. Gary Fielding officiating. Burial was in Moore Cemetery with Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Stutte was born January 2, 1928 to Silas and Eula (Keel) Williams at Olney, OK and passed into eternal presence of her Lord and Savior on September 2, 2019 at Electra, TX at the age of 91 years and 8 months. As a child Irene attended 1st thru 7th grade at Carter Seminary

in Ardmore, OK. She continued at Olney Public School graduating in 1947. Irene worked in the Coal County Court Clerk office as deputy clerk from 1950 to 1953. She married Lawrence A Stutte on February 21, 1953 in

Coalgate, OK. He preceded her in death. Irene enjoyed sewing, cross stitch, reading and collecting cardinal figurines.

Survivors include a son, Lawrence Dean Stutte and wife Pat of Wichita Falls, TX; daughters, Nancy Lynn Speir and husband Terry of Mason-Welty, OK, Nanette Bryant and husband Faron of Lexington, OK and Laura Jean Stutte; grandsons, Alex Gene Speir of Brook-line, MA and Tucker Speir and wife Corey of Tulsa, OK; granddaughters, Brianne Perez and husband Miles of Prosper, TX and Grace Gianina Stutte of Wichita Falls, TX; great-granddaughter, Piper Brynn Perez of Prosper, TX; great-grandson Hunter Todd Perez of Prosper, TX; longtime school friend, June Riley Scott of Stonewall, OK, along with many other friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters, Alice Brown, Mabel Jones, Louis Cook and infant baby sister; and brother Simon Williams.

Casketbearers were Faron Bryant, Terry Speir, Alex Speir, Tucker Speir, Miles Perez and Roy Campbell; Honorary bearers were Noah Burris and J. D. Smith.
