Service held for Randall Mylon Lovell

Services for Randall Mylon Lovell, 66, of Tupelo were 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 26, 2020 at the Tupelo First Baptist Church with Bro. David Boggs officiated. Burial followed at Byrd’s Prairie Cemetery near Tupelo. The family received friend from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Criswell Funeral Home, Ada.

Mr. Lovell passed away Monday, June 22, 2020 at his home. He was born November 16, 1953 at Tulsa to Wendall C. and Joyce Jeannine Anglin Lovell. He lived in the Tupelo area all his life and graduated from Tupelo High School in 1972. He married Deborah Stringer August 20, 1977. Mr Lovell was a truck driver and of the Baptist faith. Randall enjoyed playing dominos and spending time with his family. He had served with the Army National Guard and was a Coal County Deputy.

Survivors include his wife, Deborah, of the home; two daughters, Randi Lovell Heard and husband Tony, Tupelo, and Michelle Balthrop, Waco, TX; his mother, Jeannine Steele, Stonewall; two brothers, Lyndon Sutton and wife Patricia, Ada, and Kerry Sutton and wife Rhonda, Tupelo; a sister, Susan May and husband Rick, Ada; his grandchildren, Austin Coles, Zackery Coles, Logan Balthrop, and Rebecca Corcoran, all of Tupelo; two great-grandsons, Fisher Corcoran and Michael Morse, both of Tupelo; and nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dr. Wendall Lovell; two sons, Tony Lovell and Jackie Balthrop; a granddaughter, Courtney Barnoski; a brother, Brandon Sutton; and a cousin, Tony Lovell.

Bearers were Bruce Sutton, Roy Deck, Clinton Sutton, Trevor Sutton, Tyler Roddy and Shane Roddy. Honorary bearers were Austin Coles, Zachery Coles, Corky Acosta and Logan Balthrop.
