Service held for Rose Suzette Quinton

Graveside services for Rose Suzette Quinton, a lifelong Atoka resident, were held Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. at Butler Cemetery in Lane, OK. Brown’s Funeral Service of Atoka was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Quinton was born December 19, 1941 to James David and Rose Nell (Gal-Lop) Cross at Bentley, OK and passed away April 20, 2020 at Atoka at the age of 78 years, 4 months and one day. She attended Pine Springs School and married Oliver Cecil Quinton on October 11, 1957 at Atoka, OK. He preceded her in death. Suzette was a seamstress for Blue Bell and Wrangler and was a member of Word of Life Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, painting, fishing, taking pictures, cooking, gardening, crafts, traveling, crocheting and collecting sea shells.

Survivors include her children, Debra Lynch of Ada, OK, David Quinton and wife Cathy of San Antonio, TX, Patricia Whitaker of McAlester, OK, Donna Youngblood of Port Aransas, TX, and Deanne Peterson of Farris, OK; grandchildren, Billy Lynch Jr., Aubrey Lynch, Ashley Lynch, Trista Revoir, Katie Quinton, Jedediah Quinton, Whitney Wilson, Tiffanie Ruiz , Heather Youngblood, and Misty Peterson; great grandchildren, Brandon Clemente, Paige Clemente, Drayden Clemente, Annalynn Wilson, Addisynn Wilson, Graidy Ruiz, Jaeda Ruiz, and Raeleigh Ruiz; brother, Bobby Cross and wife Louise of Darwin, OK; sister, Audie Nanney and James McGinty of Farris OK; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; grandchild, Anita Kara Lynch; siblings, Paulette Prater, James Cross, and Jacquita Henry; nephew, Micheal Cross and son-in-law, Vance Peterson.
