Service Monday for Janie Beth Beesler

Services for Janie Beth (Self) Beesler, an Atoka resident, will be held Monday, September 21, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coalgate with Pastor Joey Lansdale officiating. Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Beesler was born June 27, 1957 to Harley and Vera Agatha (Mills) Self at Purcell, OK and passed away September 14, 2020 at Durant, OK at the age of 63 years, 2 months and 18 days. She was the youngest of seven children and grew up in McClain County, Oklahoma. Janie worked in several places in Coalgate including the Ruth Wilson Hurley Manor. She married three times before marrying the love of her life, Bobby Eugene Beesler August 3, 1989 in Purcell, OK. Janie became a mother to two beautiful children, Shashawna Lavera and Robert Harley Beesler. She and her family became residents of Coalgate in the year 2000. Janie loved spending time with her family, was a hard worker and was kind and friendly to everyone she met. She was a christian and left this world to walk with her Lord and Savior in Heaven.

Survivors include her husband, Bobby Eugene Beesler of Newcastle, OK; children, Shashawna Smith and husband Joshua of Stringtown and Robert Beesler and wife Samantha of Coalgate; grandsons, Daymian Shaun Reno, Russell Braedyn Reno, Jedidiah Luke David Smith all of Stringtown; granddaughters, Ellie Kaye Beesler, Livie Raye Beesler both of Coalgate; grandchild to be, Baby Smith; best friend, Debbie Roehn of OKC; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harley Beecher and Vera Agatha (Mills) Self; sister Glenda Ree Gay and many other relatives.
