Service Saturday for Georgia Lee Jackson

Funeral services for Georgia Lee (Patrick) Jackson, a longtime Atoka and Coalgate resident, will be held Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Atoka with Bro. Ryan Carroll officiating. Interment will be in Mill Creek Cemetery, Mill Creek, OK with Brown’s Funeral Service of Atoka is in charge of arrangements. Family night will be Friday evening 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Mrs. Jackson was born March 19, 1930 to George and Florence (Flewallen) Patrick at Mill Creek, OK and passed away April 22 2019 at Coalgate at the age of 89 years, 1 month and 3 days. She attended Mill Creek High School and worked as a waitress and for Debbie Ann’s Sewing Factory. Georgia was married to Kenneth M. Jackson for many years before his passing on January 5, 2015. She was a christian and enjoyed sewing and gardening. She had a green thumb.

Survivors include children, David Tisdell of Dallas, TX, Rita Benson and husband Toni of Stringtown, Melvin “Hopper” Jackson and wife Sheila of Coalgate, Tonya Hensley and husband Rick of Daisy, OK, Jessie Jackson of Stringtown, Wally Jackson and wife Cinda of Hobart, OK, Raymond Jackson and wife Ahlona of Stringtown, Debbie Borjesson and husband Randy of Oregon, and Randell Jackson of Indianapolis, IN; brothers, Clarence Patrick and wife Lois of Mill Creek, Bill Patrick and wife Anita of Sulphur, T. J. Patrick and wife Geraldine of Colbert and Arthur Patrick of Mill Creek; sisters, Lorene Herrington of Sulphur, Mattie Stanley and husband Dillard of Oklahoma City, and Ethel Cleveland and husband Dennis of Mill Creek; forty grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; children, Kay Lynn Jones, Eugenia Capshaw and Michael Tisdell; grandson, David Tisdell; great-grandson, John Michael Jones; brothers, Leeroy Patrick, Floyd Patrick and Edmond Patrick; and sister, Corareine Altehbaugh.
