Service Thursday for Wanda Magness

Graveside services for Wanda Faye (Stubblefield) Magness, a Wichita, KS resident will be held Thursday, March 28, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Wilson Cemetery in Clarita, OK with Mr. Jim Cox officiating. Family night will be Wednesday evening 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coal-gate. Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Magness was born January 1, 1928 to Ralph and Lillie Mae (Gray) Stubblefield at Clarita, OK and passed away March 23, 2019 at Wichita, KS at the age of 91 years, 2 months and 22 days. She attended and graduated from Salinas High School and married Jess Leroy Magness August 10, 1946 at Coalgate, OK. He preceded her in death in 2007. Wanda was a material analyst for Boeing Aircraft and worked for the area schools as an aide. She enjoyed sewing, flowers, dancing, helping with the Cub Scouts, designing and making hats and spending time with her beloved family.

Survivors include three daughters, Teresa Wilson of Wichita, KS, Debra Foulk and husband Michael of Eucha, OK and Lee McClure and husband Michael of Mc-Miniville, OR; son, Jess Magness II of Wichita KS; eight grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren, along with many dearly loved family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and brother, Harold Stubblefield.

Casketbearers will be Michael Foulk, Lance Wilson, Casey Wilson, Shane Terry, Jeremiah Magness, Devon Kirkendoll, Brett Terry, Bradley Terry, Peyton Wilson and Rece Wilson. Honorary bearers will be Michael McClure and Rob Iafrate.
