Ronald James Thompson

Graveside services for Ronald James Thompson, a Coalgate resident, were held Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at 10-:00 a.m. at Coalgate Cemetery with Pastor Mitch Williams officiating. Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate was in charge of arrangements.

Ronald was born on July 30, 1961, to R.J. Thompson and Nelma (English) Lacy, at Atoka, Oklahoma. He passed away on July 5, 2025 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 63 years, 11 months and 5 days. Ronald attended school at Coalgate. He was of the Christian faith. Ronald loved the Lord and enjoyed watching TV.

Survivors include his children, Ronald Lee Thompson, Michael Thompson and Tracy Thompson; mother, Nelma Lacy; siblings, Connie Jackson and David Thompson; father, R. J. Thompson; along with numerous other relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Ruby English and Lola Landreth and brother, R. J. Thompson, Jr.
