There are four large pecan trees in my yard. Seems as if every time I look out the back door I see a new patch of web worms in one of the pecan trees. I have not seen them on any of the other trees in my yard. Just in the pecan trees.

A story made its way to me from Dr. Ron Bullard via his brother, Steve, last week. It is a long ago story about the Allen Mustang (oops, I mean Midgets) back in the fall of 1926.

It’s always fun (for me anyway) when the First Baptist Church does its annual back to school luncheon the day before school starts. It takes care of a need of the teachers to have a good meal as well as to have a little social time in the fellowship hall at the church.
