I have seen “church going” change a lot in my years of attendance. I had training on Goat Ridge at a church named Panola that had served as a school house for many years. But the little school house had become empty. Deserted and dark.

Dear Editor: The god of this World is Satan, the Great Deceiver. He has blinded Americans into believing killing unborn humans is a Woman’s right, but God forbids killing innocent humans made after His image. We have done a terrible job in America by not following God and the Word of God.

The drought is over. It has now rained enough everywhere that the USA is soaked. Lakes are filled and yes--I’ve had enough. It was raining about everywhere on my recent road trip to Miami, Florida and points in between. In between rains it was very hot.

I remember one nice day in Oklahoma 70 years ago volunteering to drive my grandfather, Will W. Armstrong, down to Wister for a visit with his daughter. I was the only one handy that day and besides, being a teenager with a new driver’s license, I looked forward to the trip.

Dear Editor; It is sad to say, but on the 243rd Anniversary of the birth of this Great Nation, America has (possibly) reached the Point-Of-No-Return. Added the word possibly, because, there is still a glimpse of true active believers left somewhere.

As we celebrate our freedom on this Fourth of July and honor those that fought to give us this freedom, it is interesting to note that Nike, Inc. appears to be ashamed of our flag and thinks more of Colin Kaepernick, who refuses to stand for our National Anthem, than they do the countless veterans...
