December is a month that brings back a lot of memories. In the days before Wal-Mart and Amazon our downtown was thriving. It was fun to go to town to shop and see your friends. I not only remember the lay-away plan, I used it.So, time moves on, and so do we and nothings stays the same.

I love this time of year. Most of us have so much to be thankful for. I really enjoy getting together with the family (most of them). Thanksgiving also brings back a lot of memories. As a child we would all gather at my grandparents where my grandmother had prepared a feast.
