Read moreMeth pipe discovered during traffic stop On August 27 at approximately 5:00 a.m., Deputy Jacob Peebles noticed a vehicle with no brake lights and proceeded to pull the vehicle over. The driver, identified as Thomas Lee Burkhart, 45, of Ada, informed the deputy that his license was suspended because of an unpaid ticket. Deputy Peebles asked Burkhart to step out of the vehicle. As he exited the vehicle, something fell from his lap into the floorboard. As it turned out, it was a glass pipe commonly used to smoke methamphetamine.

The traffic stop led to the confiscation of over four pounds of marijuana, suspected hallucinogen, and cash.
