CHS has opportunity to do concurrent

Coalgate High School students have the opportunity throughout the course of their Junior and Senior year to take classes concurrently. Students are enrolled in two schools simultaneously. Students gain exposure to the academic challenges of college while in their supportive high school environment, earning transcripted college credit at the time they successfully pass the course. Coalgate works with several colleges and universities to allow students to select a curriculum best suited to their needs. Carrie Walkup, high school librarian, oversees the students enrolled in these classes.
