Coal County Sheriff’s Deputy Blaine Batchelor was dispatched to a residence on SH 43 on January 17 for a report of a stolen vehicle.

Two Allen men were arrested January 19 for burglary in the 2nd degree and grand larceny. The suspects are Chance Adrian Griffin, 30, and Douglas Lee Tatum, 23.

A 27-year-old Tupelo man was arrested during the wee morning hours of Wednesday, January 15, following a cross-county pursuit by the Choctaw Nation Lighthorse Police, Coal County Sheriff’s Office, Coalgate Police Department, Tupelo Police Department, and Atoka County Sheriff’s Office.
