Friends and family will have a service at a later date for Michael Wayne Hale, a Tupelo resident.Michael was born March 7, 1948, to R.D. Hale and Charlene (Ables) Hale, at Oakland, California. He passed away on January 7, 2025 at Denison, Texas, at the age of 76 years and 10 months.

A memorial service for Amy Jo (Carpenter) Simonson, a Coalgate resident, will be held Saturday, January 18, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coalgate with Pastor Lyle Shipley officiating. Family night will be January 17, 2025 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Chapel.

Lenus Leon Batchelor, 72, of Tupelo, OK, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at his loving daughter’s home, surrounded by his family. Lenus was born on September 19, 1952 in Coalgate, OK to his parents, Leonard Leon Batchelor and Maggie Faye Batchelor (Sanders).

Geneva Louiese (Taylor) Dulin, a Coalgate resident, was born September 16, 1939 to John Thomas Taylor and Allie Marie (Constant) Linam at Napa, CA and passed away December 17, 2024 at Coalgate at the age of 85 years, 3 months and 1 day. Geneva attended V a c a v i l l e High School in California.
