Funeral services for Isabela Miriam McPherson-Moore, a Stringtown OK resident, a lifelong Atoka resident except for two years in Laredo, TX, were held Saturday, September 21, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Atoka First Baptist Church with Coby Sherill, Bro. Larry Luman, Bro. Ed Miller and Warden Margaret Green officiating. Interment was in Green Meadows Cemetery in Atoka with Brown’s Funeral Service of Atoka in charge of arrangements.

He was born in Perryton, TX to Harold and Nancy George on January 12, 1961. He peacefully passed in his home in Centrahoma, OK on September 17, 2024. Alva graduated in 1980 from Vega High School. Married the love of his life Kathy on June 12, 1980. They had a full 44 years of marriage with many blessings. He served four years in the United States Marine Corps. In 1989, Alva gave his life to Jesus at Lightning Ridge Baptist Church. He loved to fish, the Dallas Cowboys and good ole westerns. He was a simple hardworking man with the biggest heart. He was always the life of the party and had the greatest smile. He left a legacy of honor and love to many generations. He is survived by his wife Kathy George; children, Adrian and Jesse Mason, CW and Shonna George, AJ and Breanna George, Autumn and Shay Haney; 14 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; brother Danny George; mother Nancy George; and many more. He is preceded in death by his father Harold George and brothers Joseph George, Harold George Jr, and Robbin George.

Her marriage to Daymond Dale Ennis on October 21, 1962, was a remarkable 62-year journey, blessed with three children, Kevin, Ronnie & Kimberly.
