Funeral services for Paul Clayton Armer, a longtime Coalgate resident, were held Monday, December 23, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Coalgate with Pastor Jim Lewis officiating. Interment was in Coalgate Cemetery with Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate in charge of arrangements.

Lyman Jean Leister died on November 26, 2024 in Torrance, CA, at the age of 82. Born to Dovie (Wilson) Leister and Paul Byron Leister in Ada, OK. Lyman moved to California when he was 13 and graduated from North Torrance High. Drafted into the Army in 1965, he served in Viet Nam.

Funeral services for Velma Lou Hobgood, a Lehigh resident, will be held Thursday, December 19, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coalgate with Colton Lott officiating. Family night will be Wednesday evening 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Brown’s Chapel.

Funeral services for Dovie Lou Moon, an Ada resident, formerly of Coalgate, will be held Friday, December 20, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coalgate with Pastor Larry Beach officiating. Burial will be in Coalgate Cemetery with Brown’s Funeral Service in charge of arrangements.

A Memorial service for Naomi Faye Gooding will be held Friday, January 10, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Crystal Cemetery in Crystal, OK with Scott Ridgway and Judy Chastain officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be all of her grandchildren. Brown’s Funeral Service of Atoka will be in charge of arrangements.

Glenn David Glass, a Coalgate resident, was born on April 4, 1957, to George Dewey and Mary Etta (Bratton) Glass, at Coalgate, Oklahoma. He passed away on December 4, 2024, at his home in Coalgate at the age of 67 years and 8 months.Glenngraduated from Coalgate High School in the Class of 1975.

Funeral service for Titus Carden Cole were held Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coalgate with Bro. John Kinsey officiating, assisted by Bro. Eddie Hogue, Trevin Cole and Johnny D. Ward.

Services for Dennis Joe McCoy were 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 30, 2024 at Central Church of Christ; Mr. Paul Shero officiated. The family received friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday at Criswell Funeral Home.Dennis Joe McCoy was born September 17, 1945 to Joe and Dorothy McCoy.
