Funeral services for Carolyn “Sue” Yarbrough a Coalgate OK resident were held Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Brown’s Funeral Chapel, Coalgate, Oklahoma with Richard Magby. Interment was in Lehigh Cemetery in Lehigh, OK with Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate in charge of arrangements.

Funeral services for Isabela Miriam McPherson-Moore, a Stringtown OK resident, a lifelong Atoka resident except for two years in Laredo, TX, were held Saturday, September 21, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Atoka First Baptist Church with Coby Sherill, Bro. Larry Luman, Bro.

Osborne Roberts, affectionately known as Ozzie, Oz and Cubby of Cottonwood, OK, entered his Heavenly Home on September 18, 2024, at the age of 79. Born on October 3, 1944, in Talihina, OK, to Eliud and Lee Fannie Roberts, he attended Ahloso Schools and Haskell Junior College.

The family of Joseph Eugene McClure, a longtime Tupelo resident, will have a Celebration of Life on Saturday, September 28. 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at the Choctaw Community Center in Coalgate. Lunch will follow.

We celebrated the beautiful life of Alva C. George Sunday, September 22, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the Coalgate 45th Infantry Park Community Building. He was born in Perryton, TX to Harold and Nancy George on January 12, 1961. He peacefully passed in his home in Centrahoma, OK on September 17, 2024.

Funeral services for Frank Lee Forneris, a Coalgate resident, will be held Thursday, September 19, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coalgate with Pastor David Unsell officiating. Burial will be in Coalgate Cemetery with Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate in charge of arrangements.

Paula (Forneris) Ennis, a shining star, left this world listening to “Jesus Hold MY Hand”onThursday,September 12, 2024, at the tender age of 80, surrounded by her loved ones in her home.

Margaret Ruth Andrews, 91, of Oklahoma City passed away peacefully in her home on September 11, 2024.Margaret was born December 14, 1932 in Coalgate, OK to John and Mary Forneris Andrews. Margaret attended Coalgate Schools and graduated in 1950.

A celebration of life was held recently for Walter Allen Nichols. He was born October 19, 1947 in Coalgate, OK to Henry Nichols and Elsie May Jameson and passed away peacefully August 26, 2024 at the age of 77.
