Memorial services for Kathlean Haworth, 76, of Coalgate are 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at First Baptist Church in Coalgate; Pastor Jim Lewis will officiate. Mrs. Haworth passed away Thursday, October 31, 2024 at her home.

A graveside memorial service for Miller Durrett Collins, an Ardmore, Oklahoma, resident, will be held Saturday, November 9, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Lyle Shipley officiating. Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate is in charge of arrangements.

Funeral services for Roy Lynn Burkhalter, a lifelong Atoka County resident, were held Saturday, November 2, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Atoka with Rev. Roger Brown and Bro. Paul Silvers officiating.

Funeral services for Theodore Robert Leland, Jr., a Sulphur resident, were held Saturday, October 19, 2024 at Tupelo Baptist Church in Tupelo, Oklahoma with Tony Randol officiating, assisted by Jerry Romines.

Paula Jeannine (Leister) Hall died on October 1, 2024. She passed peacefully at her home in Redondo Beach, CA, at the age of 89 surrounded by family. Born on October 7, 1934 to Dovie (Wilson) Leister and Paul Byron Leister in Coalgate, OK, Paula graduated Coalgate High School in 1952.

Memorial services for Janie Sue Welch, age 71, a Coalgate, OK resident, formerly a lifelong Atoka, OK resident, will be held Saturday, October 26, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Atoka, OK with Pastor Marylin West Pratt officiating.

Marilyn Jean (Wolfe) Tollett, was born on March 4, 1940 in Lehigh, Oklahoma to Wayne Eugene and Beatrice (Mills) Wolfe, and passed away on October 13, 2024 in Coalgate, Oklahoma. She attended Lehigh Elementary and Coalgate High Schools. She married Travis Gene Tollett on October 3, 1959.

June (Riley) Scott, 94, long time resident of Stonewall, are 2:00 p.m Thursday October 10 2024 at the Stonewall First Baptist Church with Rev. JP Williams officiating, assisted by Rev. Duane Riley. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery.Visitation will be held at Criswell Funeral Home from 5-7 p.m.

Bette Ann Scates passed away peacefully at her home in Tishomingo, Oklahoma, on September 8, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 18, 1953, in Corcoran, California, to Robert Hardy Wyatt and Nannie Wayne (Taylor) Wyatt.

Margaret Ann (Blevins) Troyer, a Chandler resident, was born on September 1, 1960, to Melvin Ray and Joyce Nadine (Dority) Blevins, at Coalgate, Oklahoma. She passed away on September 25, 2024, at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 64 years and 24 days.
