Happy New Year Seems simple enough. For those old enough to remember the New Year following 1999 was a lot more hectic. Lots of folk, thinking that 1999 would last forever forgot to program the year 2,000 into the new gadgets, computers and all that.

This is the question: “Will Trump win a second term in 2020?” If he does will it mean we like his Presidential TV Twitter Show? Is it as good as his old show, “You’re Fired.” Will we, his audience want an extension?

My daughter Lesli, wife Pat and myself headed our car south Sunday morning toward Dallas. We drove out of the ancient two-lanes of Oklahoma onto the prosperous superhighways of North Texas. We were headed to Bedford to help my best friend, Virgil Guy, celebrate his 90th birthday.
